Our Warranty

5-Year Parts & Installation Service Warranty

Northwest Ductless Systems LLC (“NDS”) warrants that all ductless heat pump systems sold and installed by NDS will be free from defects in workmanship related to installation for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation.

What This Warranty Covers

Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers our workmanship and installation-related issues.

For five (5) years from the installation date, Northwest Ductless Systems will:

  • Repair or correct defects resulting from improper installation or workmanship performed by NDS
  • Provide labor at no charge to fix issues caused directly by NDS installation errors
  • Replace or repair installation-related components (such as refrigerant piping connections, electrical terminations, mounting, drainage, or system configuration) if failure is due to NDS workmanship

Labor Coverage Clarification

Free labor under this warranty applies only when the failure is directly caused by improper installation performed by Northwest Ductless Systems.

This warranty does not cover labor costs for:

  • Manufacturer-defective parts or equipment
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failures unrelated to installation workmanship
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect system operation

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation
  • Failure to perform required maintenance
  • Modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than NDS
  • Power surges, lightning, flooding, fire, or other acts of nature
  • Corrosion, environmental conditions, or site-specific issues
  • Relocation or removal of equipment
  • Changes to the building or electrical system after installation
